ABOUT US
SPINNEY HOLLOW is a five and a half acre wood set in a 90 acre copse on the edge of Winchester Hampshire. It's aim is to create a versatile space for people to learn, play and create. Within the Spinney Hollow bounderies we run 6 day chair-making workshops, stool making weekends, and offer our unique space and actvities to groups whether it be corporate /families or friendship. The plot includes a green wood work workshop - which can also be used as an indoor/outdoor meeting/workshop space, one big bell tent and 3 smaller ones, we also have a washroom, compost loo and many places to sit, wander and think.
YOU CAN EITHER
Book a place on a Chairmaking course or stool course Come as an individual / couple or parent/child for either the 6 day chair workshops or a stool making weekend ( all children must be accompanied by an adult) | Chose a workshop space that suits your needs and look at our extra options on the facilities page which include.. Fireside gourmet meal in our covered outdoor dining area and Staying over in one of our Bell tents.

From green wood work taster days to arts and crafts .We have a large network of local artists and facilitators to meet just about any activity you want , from drumming, drama, charcoal burning to raki, coppicing, pottery and more.....
we are a fully insured and risk assesed site and a first aider will always be on hand
